At Fatherhood to the Fatherless, we believe in the power of community and connection. Whether you’re looking to give back as a volunteer or inspire as a mentor, your time and commitment can make a lasting impact on the lives of African American males navigating fatherlessness.
Volunteers play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission of empowering African American males. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Event Support: Help us plan, organize, and run workshops, mentorship events, and community outreach programs. Your support ensures every event is impactful and successful.
Community Outreach: Spread awareness about Fatherhood to the Fatherless by connecting us with local organizations, faith groups, and community leaders. Be a bridge between our mission and those we serve.
Administrative Support: Assist with essential behind-the-scenes tasks like data entry, communication management, and preparing materials for programs and events.
Special Projects: Lend your skills to specific initiatives, such as coordinating fundraising campaigns or supporting our leadership team with special events.

A passion for helping others and making a difference.
Dependable individuals who can commit to agreed-upon responsibilities.
Enthusiastic team members ready to contribute to a faith-driven community.
Mentorship is at the heart of our mission at Fatherhood to the Fatherless. As a mentor, you have the power to make a lasting impact on the lives of African American males navigating life without a father figure. Here’s how you can help:
Provide Guidance: Share your experiences and wisdom to help mentees overcome challenges and build confidence.
Inspire Growth: Encourage personal, spiritual, and emotional development, helping mentees discover their purpose and set meaningful goals.
Be a Role Model: Show mentees what leadership and resilience look like, helping them navigate life’s challenges with strength and integrity.

Commit to a minimum of 3 months of mentorship.
Participate in an initial mentor training session to align with our mission and approach.
Demonstrate a willingness to listen, support, and encourage mentees in their journey.
What Mentors Receive

A rewarding experience of helping someone unlock their potential.
